Computer Animation Degree
The artistically-inclined individual with a passion for movies and video games might find a career in computer animation a very rewarding one. Before you can pursue a career in computer animation, however, you need to get a computer animation degree. The courses you will take up will not only harness your full artistic potential; you will also learn the basic computer skills needed for the industry and choose which field you’d like to specialize in.
Basic classes such as character design, 3D animation, and 3D animation are taken up by every student before he or she decides to narrow down his or her interests. Throughout your computer animation degree, you will be building a portfolio that you will show to prospective employers upon graduating. You will most likely start as an intern doing a number of small tasks before you are asked to join the animation team. The hours are long but the financial and personal rewards are worth it once you see your animation come to life in the big screen.
